Willow, Willow

I’ve finally begun my art class for Life Book 2012. Woohoo!!  I’ve decided to spend today reviewing the first lessons for January, and although I’m only getting started, I thought I’d take a blog-break. 🙂

This first project has me drawing a 3/4 face portrait. Let me first say, I’m still not confident in my drawing skills at all. I decided to start the lesson by working on a scrap piece of paper from an architect’s pad – and wouldn’t you know, I kind of like how it’s going so far!  I guess that means I get extra practice because I’ll have to recreate what I’ve drawn on the base for my project.

Practice makes perfect, right?
